ABOUT OPCAR FOUNDATION

OPCAR FOUNDATION is a Non-Political, Non-Profit Charitable Foundation for Integrated Welfare of the Society. It was registered on 23.9.1988 vide Registration No. 5887, under the Indian Trust Act. It is supported by 40 Trustees, 286 Associate Members and 160 Volunteers. The Foundation supports underprivileged Children and Women.

The basic objective of the Foundation is to help and look after the Welfare of Orphans,Needy Children, Youth, Widows and aged people of economically Weaker Section. Lots of hard work is done to accelerate efforts for upliftment of Females. The Foundation’s aim is to provide Meritorious Scholarship to poor and deserving Children of Schools / Colleges of Delhi and outside. The Foundation also provides financial support to destitute Females, Physically and visually impaired Persons.

I am Pleased to Know that OPCAR Foundation, a Public Charitable Trust for Integrated Human Welfare is bringing out its 11th edition of Souvenir on 8th October, 2016. I appreciate the welfare activites being carried out by the OPCAR Foundation. I am particularly happy to note the motto of the Foundation – Add Cheets to Life’, which is very pleasing. मुझे यह जानकर हार्दिक प्रसन्नता हो रही है कि ओपकार फाउंडेशन, गोल्फ व्यू अपार्टमेन्ट, साकेत, हर वर्ष की भांति अपनी वार्षिक स्मारिका का 16वीं संस्करण प्रकाशित करने जा रही है। स्मारिका में फाउंडेशन द्वारा जनहित में की गई विभिन्न गतिविधियों का समावेश होगा जो लोगों में परस्पर सहयोग व समन्वय की भावना को प्रसारित करते हुए उन्नति के नए मानदंड स्थापित्त करेगा। साथ ही मुझे यह कहते हुए भी खुशी हो रही है कि ओपकार फाउंडेशन मानव कल्याण के लिए दिल्ली सहित कई राज्यों में कार्यरत है। जिसमें गरीब, अनाथ मेधावी छात्रों को छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान करना, निराश्रित महिलाओं और शारीरिक रूप से दिव्यांग व्यक्तियों को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करना, निशुल्क स्वास्थ्य जांच, ध्यान व योग शिविर आयोजित करवाना, वरिष्ठ नागरिकों की सहूलियत हेतु आश्रय गृहों की व्यवस्था करना एवं बंचित बच्चों के लिए होंबी कक्षाएँ व विशेष उपचारात्मक कक्षाएँ आयोजित करवाना आदि कार्य अति प्रशंसनिक व सराहनीय है। मेरी ओर से फाउंडेशन के सभी पदाधिकारियों व सदस्यों को स्मारिका के सफल प्रकाशन हेतु हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ।
